What It’s Like
Little Makers Club is a relaxed weekly craft session designed for children aged 1–5 and their grown-ups. Expect painting, clay, sensory crafts and seasonal makes — the kind of activities that result in slightly messy hands and very proud little faces.
For the younger end (closer to 1–2), you’ll likely be doing most of the sticking, shaping and assembling yourself — but that’s part of the charm. It’s very much a shared experience, and you’ll usually leave with a sweet little keepsake.
The atmosphere is warm and informal, and it’s right in the centre of town — just down the little road that leads from Dorringtons Bakery.
Parking
Best options nearby:
• Market Square
• The Common car park
• Waitrose
All within easy walking distance.
Walden Weekly Tip
Dress for mess (even if aprons are provided). If you’ve got a younger toddler, go in expecting to “assist heavily” and you’ll have a much more enjoyable time. And if you fancy a bakery stop afterwards… well… no judgement here.
